Rika joined the predecessor of BDP Attorneys, Honey Attorneys, in 2004 as an assistant where she was actively involved in the Corporate and Commercial Department until 2010. Thereafter, she joined George in his Divorce and Family Law Practice as his assistant, where her passion for helping clients successfully navigate the difficult transition of divorce and family related matters, originated.

As a result of her passion for the law, Rika commenced her studies at the University of South Africa in 2017 and registered her Practical Vocational Training Contract during 2018. Rika successfully obtained her LLB degree from the University of South Africa in 2021.

Rika is passionate about Family Law, dispute resolution and litigation. Over the course of the decade working for and under the leadership of George in his Family Law Practice, she has gained experience in family law and related matters.
